The area is steeped in history with the old Roman and Norman town of Pevensey just a few miles to the north built round Pevensey Castle. The medieval town of Herstmonceux with its castle and observatory lies a few miles away to the north east.

Three miles to the west on the edge of the South Downs lies the cosmopolitan resort town of Eastbourne with its beautiful seafront and Victorian pier and bandstand. Eastbourne boasts a multitude of amenities from theatres to cinemas, shopping to restaurants with a sprinkling of art and culture. Throughout the season special events keep the visitors happy.

The bungalow sleeps a maximum of 5 in three bedrooms, one double and two singles. There is also a folding bed with space to use comfortably.

The long drive will easily accommodate three normal or four small cars. (Note that the garage visible in some photos is not part of the property for rent).
